I'm not mad at Emily, she probably really didn't think this through but it's crazyyyy: Maya payed a lot of money to rent this place and pay for the food specifically to teach viewers about how yummy it is to eat vegan now and then in her new series "saving the world for dummys", it's the whoooole point that you do NOT need to eat meat. She doesn't demand of anybody to go vegan but at this specific event it is to come and bring meat 😂 Completely and utterly inappropriate and it's sooo weird to me that the comments here don't get that.
If Emily's choice is to follow a strict meat includinh diet that's fine, but she can't just come and bring meat then 😅 she should obviously have cancelled.

Vegans do bring their own food to gatherings and even ask for special treatment in such places, so I do think the reverse should be okay too if you simply hate that "vegan-replacement-meat" stuff.

Personally, I like trying out now stuff, so I would usually go for vegan dishes in a event like this. From personal experience, a good cook and great ingredients can make every dish great, even if it's only plants or no plants at all... but the same is true for the other side of the medal.
At some of the best and the worst food (vegan, vegetarian and classic omnivore) at such open air gatherings, since it usually attracts both: talented cooks who want to share their awesome food with people and cheap cash grabs that fill a niche.
