It’s been said a million times. I’ll add my vote. Mick Taylor’s playing with the Stones was unrepeatable and pure magic. Someone else already said it - Mr. Taylor became a member of a band that was right on the edge of true jaw-dropping greatness, and pushed them over to that level for six never-to-be-recaptured years.

How does this masterpiece have so few views, Stones or Olson's ?! How can we forget the greatness of Mick Taylor ?!

The Rolling Stones are terrific, no doubt about it. But Mick Taylor gave them another dimension.

God bless Mick Taylor. Easily the best, most melodic and inventive guitar player of his generation. Absolutely incendiary. I put him in the same category as Miles Davis and Coltrane. And no, that is not a joke.

Mick Taylor's playing always moves me, it has this emotional vibe to it. Such a pure musician. When Taylor left the Stones, the magic was gone in my humble opinion.

A guitar legend. His vibrato is so tasty and pure. The Stones best years were with him.

Love The Stones always have, but I'll say this. having Mick Taylor in the band was the only thing that gave their claim to being the "Greatest rock and roll band in the world" and validity. Didn't stay around nearly long enough too bad for The Stones and too bad for those of us who appreciated his talents

The CORE of my Rolling Stones left with Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman. And now Charlie Watts left, forever.

his music, his improvisation is like a kalaidoscope, full of new shapes, feelings, sensations and colours that never repeat...a wizzard with a guitar in his hand!

When I felt alone (after a breakup) during a cold northern Europe winter, Mick's guitar prowess carried me through.

I agree with what everyone is saying about Mick Taylor. Best Stones player ever. I miss him in the band. But... do you think their producer Jimmy Miller is to been given a lot of credit for the amazing performances by Mick Taylor? I think so. No sloppy playing at all on any of the Stones records. Tight guitar solos on the Stones records - every note is brilliant. Thanks Jimmy Miller... for getting the best out of Mick Taylor.
