Today we're going to be taking a look at some useful options that are available for use with the Pacman package manager, to do things from knowing how to query for package info to listing the files contained within a package and even listing out your orphaned packages, there should be something useful to learn from today's content.

I think the uu not upgrading now it's a side effect of its original purpose, it's meant to downgrade packages if there's any to downgrade, since there's not any packages to downgrade it doesn't upgrade anything, from the man page on the -u:

"Pass this option twice to enable package downgrades; in this case, pacman will select sync packages whose versions do not match with the local versions."

Also as a suggestion it might be worth to make a video later on about pacman-contrib that has some useful pacman scripts like paccache or checkupdates.

This video is just way too quick, and you don't show the commands separately either so it feels like a rush to keep up with you while trying them. I paused this video 10 times or so.

However I can't follow you at the rate at which you speak.
Becasue half the words you say are unnecessary and I tire of working out which ones to latch onto.
If you spoke with only half the words you use just now you would be much much clearer and easiear to follow.
This is intended as positive feedback, from someone who would find your helpful and interesting work much easiear to follow if it slowed down a bit. (I don't mean take longer to present the same information)
