LOVE the painters tape idea for weeding! I was fumbling around with the weeded vinyl just yesterday... had it on my slippers, hands, sleeves...!! LOL I did find that my hand didn’t stick to the mat if I rested my weeding hand on the back of transfer paper. I placed a loose piece onto the mat and my hand didn’t stick to the mat! 😉

I took a class locally for introducing to cricut, I have the maker. They teacher never said anything about reusing transfer tape and after the larger project we did, all of us three away the transfer tape.. I don't anymore. I figured out a great way to organize my Cricut tools. I use a carousel-style necklace holder that I got from Hobby Lobby for less that $10 using my coupon. Most of the Cricut tools have holes at the end and they hang perfectly on the necklace hooks. I can just spin it around to find the tool I need.

I’m new cricut and loving all the videos. I sew also and I always saved scrapes of material after each project, so I’m think maybe you could save the scrapes from weeding for some other projects. Could you put them on wax paper for a rainy day? Can’t wait to do more projects with my cricut. Thanks for all the info.

i did a couple of projects with my cricut before then i put it away ..now i forgot how to use it lol .. it i want to start again and you mentioned cutting chipboard which i bought to do a project but my cricut doesn’t have a cycle for that. what cycle do i use to cut the chipboard?
