There is an alternative location if you have collected all four souls already. Travel to upper Pagoda go back on yourself towards the lower level down the big stair case and straight up to the end of the corridor. This will trigger a mini boss fight

Yeah I must’ve missed the window. I’m all the way in chapter 4 now, I tried to go back and finish the dialogue of the rats, completed it but the rats don’t show up in the cell. Anyone figure it out?
