Gosh, this is so scary. I wonder if they’re actually placing compression socks on everyone to help prevent the blood clots at least. It’s so sad to see someone fighting for their life and losing their limbs in the process.

the whole blood clot thing seems to be why people can't breathe even with ventilation. There are many small clots in the small vessels of the lungs.

"High number of COVID-19 patients have blood clots" which upon embolization to the lungs can cause low oxygen levels that won't really respond to being intubated and attached to a ventilator. Moreover, these can also cause sudden cardiac arrest as may have happened to the 3 men who were reportedly quarantined in a Hilton Garden Inn in NYC after being hospitalized for COVID-19.

I’m a healthy 25 y/o living where corona broke out in the US(kirkland WA). I had a DVT/PE develop about a month before the outbreak “hit”. Docs have done bloodwork and still have yet to find what caused my clot, Strange stuff. We’re thinking I might have a.p.s or may thurner, but it all seems last ditch. I’m no conspiracist, but it at least seems possible I had it

Wouldn't you expect this? You are prone to blood clots with prolonged immobility. First, everyone is sitting at home on their sofas all day. Second, if you get sick you're laying in bed most of the day. Third, if you go to the hospital you're definitely not moving at all. If anyone has experience with a bedridden patient, you know blood clots are a constant worry.
