Great movie. The more time goes by, the more we wish we had those times back.

Back in the good old days when cars and trucks looked the very best. Everybody had Chrome Reverse wheels on their cars, that was the new thing, and they looked totally, BEAUTIFUL in these street machines. No ugly wagon wheels and thin tires on any of them like what thes goofy, silly kids put on their cars, their souped up lawn mowers pieces of junk they have today. Yeap. Back then, those were real times, real cars, real trucks prowling the streets with real high performance engines in them and nice 14 or 15 inch wheels on them that set the standard of both beauty and perfection!

Back in Wyoming Mich, we had our "Candy Anns" and on every Saturday nite and sometimes Friday Nites, we crusied north and south on Division. Man, Oh What A Nite! Life was good.

Milner has the best line in the movie when he said "Rock & roll has been going downhill ever since Buddy Holly died" So prophetic.

When music was music, and cars and trucks had good looks and personality attached to them. Today, we're all stuck with cookie cutter SUV's and four door station wagon trucks with ugly wagon wheels and thin tires on them.

We didn't so much give it away as let it slip away, quietly in to the night.

Buddy Holly and the Crickets recorded over 50 songs before Buddy Died...Buddy was only 22 years old, at that point in the Beatles life they had'nt recorded one song of all of them...that's how advanced Buddy was

It's supposed to be 1962 in the movie but at 0.56 there is a parked car that looks to be about a '68. The colour is a give-a-way too because it's a shade of pea-green that was popular in the late 60's and early 70's. Can anyone identify exactly what kind of car it is?
