How to use a RAMSET HammerShot FOR BEGINNERS concrete nail gun

I cover a lot more than just how to use it. Go to 6:25 to skip to the demo.
There are many options and brands but I don't use it that often so the $25 is just fine for me. If you live in Australia, you need to have this tool registered and a license plus training to use it. I'm curious what other countries regulations are.

This tool is used most often to attach wood to concrete or wood to steel but it can be used with other materials. There are many fasteners of various sizes and shapes. Check out the store display to see more. By the way, if you are curious as to the holding strength, good luck getting these nails out of concrete, it's possible but man it's not easy! These are permanent fasteners. Easier to grind it off than pull it out.

Yes, I know it's a long video, so go to 6:25 if you want to skip to the demo. In the first half, I cover safety, how to choose various loads, the difference in nails etc.

One of the best, most informative, easy to follow, DIY videos I’ve seen. This video should double down as a how-to-make-a-DIY video

Thanks. Brings back memories of my dad building a wall on the concrete patio. He blew a chunk of concrete off the corner. Getting prepared to build a pantry in the basement. I appreciate you going through the load colors.

Now I understand where the word "powder" comes from. I was very confused at how the heck a tool so small drives through concrete. Amazing stuff.

Thank you for your video. I used mine over ten years ago- though my carpenter used it a few years ago. I needed to review how to use it. Your video helped

When I was a kid I used to steal those Ramsets .22 cal and put them in a steal pan on top of a fire in hopes to set them off for the noise xD

No need to be ashamed for the damaged tool mate, as long as it does it’s job and we know that some old tools are better then new ones :)

Thanks Adam. Just a word about lubricating the gun afterwards; WD-40 is not a lubricant (well, initially it is, but not really) but a solvent. When you spray it on anything it actually dissolves any lubricant that was there. Better to use Tri-Flow for lubrication.
