Michael Jackson - The Lady in My Life (Remastered Full Version) [HQ]

"The Lady in My Life" is a 1982 song by Michael Jackson on "Thriller". In this video the full version is mixed as it appeared on the CD - which is a cassette dub - with the remastered version of the final HQ shortened edit which appeared on the "Thriller" LP.

The song was edited in 1982 - along with "Billie Jean" - following mastering issues with the vinyl test pressings.

The first chorus and second verse were as a consequence removed. Once the edits were done, another "test pressing" was completed and it sounded amazing.

The full, unedited version of "The Lady in My Life" would later surface on a CD released in 2002. Released on Chrysalis Records in Europe, it is titled "The Songs of Rod Temperton".
