Nice look at the Flash Forge printers, thank you. Love the shop with all those A1's on the walls, just very nice and clean very well organized. Keep thinking back to when you first were posting videos here, just amazing to see how far you have progressed! Great to see. I was watching you well before you got your first think it was an atom print laser machine, started watching you way before that video came out.

It's crazy how much impact Bambu has had on the industry. Literally every company is trying to draft behind them.

I love my flashforge. I am only using it for personal reasons and it fits my lifestyle.

Making the printer pirouette on the corner was kind of a flex since it didn’t flex. That convinced me it’s a solid machine. The 5M looks like a real workhorse! Great demo!

I've set up a few off these. It's easier to remove the shipping bolts if you go in from the top.

I've always had a look out for the 5M. Hearing loads of good stuff about it but not yet pulled the trigger! I only print in 1 colour and ofcourse the newer version also has a AMS and is very capable too! Keep it up!

Your videos are great! I have learned a lot from you. Its been fun watching you build shops and modifying them. I finally put up my first 3D Printing Business video. I have been waiting for printers to improve before I actually bought one. Once Bambu came out it was time. I remember the first of the maker bot printers but really wanted a good plug and play. Keep it going and thanks again! BrayBrandStudios

The Flashforge 5M is my first 3D printer and it is sitting here printing as I am typing this. I have printed a lot of things on this printer and it has not given me a single problem. Now that I have had a little experience I wanted to step up to a printer that can print colors. I could not get my hands on the Flashforge AD5X so I purchased a Bambu PS1 and I just can not get as good of a print as the 5M. I am not bashing the printer and I am sure it's just me. I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. I am really happy with my 5M and when I need to print something without the hassle I use my 5M. Oh and thanks Sam for doing the videos.

Honestly, I bought the 5M and a separate enclosure for 36 bucks from Amazon. I also had a light, fan and some tubing laying around. Build myself a small filtration system (Practically for nothing, theoretically like 10-20 bucks). Now it's basically the same, for way less. I also don't want to waste 2-3 spools of filament during which time I could be printing much better things. Definitely worth it, in my opinion. Also, as a quality of life; first thing you should print when you get the printer is a new filament holder, because having it in the back is extremely impractical.

I started my 3d printing journey 10 yrs ago with a kit where you have to assemble it all and wire it up. I remember using zip ties to hold it together while printing parts to stabilize it lol oh how far we have come.my first farm so to speak was a bunch of enders. I actually swore I would never buy a Bambu I would tease they were for people with no 3d printing skills lol. A few months ago, I needed to add a printer to my business, and I needed one same day. Long story short the only decent colored printer in stock was the A1 so I bought it. Not disappointed its def a good machine I own a k3 combo as well also a good machine but might not be as beginner friendly as the A1.

You are so blessed with all those nice machines.... I'm still on a Flashforge Finder. I'm a pensioner so an upgrade is out of the question, I started loading some of my models on CULTS, under LEONLED, but only had one "sale" so far... I will keep that separate until the day I can afford a better printer... 140mm with 50mm/s is really slowing down the rate I can make and test new designs with... I really wanted something that does klipper, I am getting so sick of flashforge's own slicer though... it is so thin on features. I have a spoolholder design on there I use with my finder, but you should be able to just cut a little bit off the bottom where it hooks into the finder, so it sits flat on your machine, it holds 3 to 4 spools so you can swap colours between most often used colours fast.

Thanks Sam, great vid! Hey what base did you put the printers on? You may have mentioned it on another vid but it looks like a good idea

We had a flashforge 5m originally. Did around 50 hours of printing. Never got the WiFi to work. Updated to fix the WiFi issue and never got another good print off of it. Switched over to the A1 and, knock on wood, haven’t had any issues after hundreds of hours.

I have to say that these printers do require constant lubrication if they are used regularly with big prints. I picked up a can of 3-in-1 lithium grease and used it sparingly on the lead screws, bearings, and rods. Far better than that packet of grease that came in the box. With the amount of money that you put into filament to print off the DIY enclosure, it's just better to get the 5M Pro if you want to print with ABS and ASA filaments.
