GCSE History: WWI Medicine- Key Events and Context

This video lesson provides context on 4 key areas/battles of WWI in order to allow better use of contextual knowledge in the WWI medicine source investigation. It will look at the main battles of Ypres (1941, 1915 and 1917), The Somme (1916), Arras (1917) and Cambrai (1917).

The lesson is intended to support the Edexcel GCSE History Specification, but will probably be useful for other exam boards too. It should last about at 1 hour, depending on the detail and depth to which tasks are completed.
