Matthew Schofield and Jessica Lurvey both of Laconia, NH were found in separate Casella Waste Systems landfills, one in Belmont, New Hampshire and one over 70 miles away in Lewiston, Maine. How could this have happened?

I am family to these two and this is the best thing I've seen or heard. Glad to see that someone feels the same way I do. Not suspicious? How isn't it? There's no way that Matt and Jess would have crawled into a dumpster to do anything. As you said, people label others that suffer with addiction and assumptions follow. I'm 100 percent sure that they didn't crawl into a dumpster, foul play is my belief in this case and the police dept just wants to call it as they have and close the case. There's names thrown of people that haven't even been questioned, one even bragged of doing this. My opinion is there ruling is far from what REALLY happened!! Thank you for recognizing the obvious in this case

There’s no way the two bodies were picked up by the same truck and separated like that. This whole situation stinks.

I am always humbled to hear people be so compassionate towards drug users it's really really touching it is easy to be frustrated with them but this really shows a charity that we need to see more of

Godspeed to Jessica and Matthew. I can't imagine being in the state that caused their demise. Thank you for updating this case.

Yes! Addicts are worthy of an investigation like anyone else! I’ve been off the streets sober and sane for over 10yrs now, but if I went missing it would come up that I’m an addict! I have beautiful children & people who love me! I’d hope that police would at least try! Soo sad for the families that lost loved ones! And I find it hard they went into a dumpster, I think they were put there. Sad.

Thanks for bringing attention to this case. I live in Concord, NH and basically nothing about this case/incident has been in the news or on the Patch, etc... I first heard about this story from the video you put out not that long ago. I love your channel and always look forward to new videos you release. I also feel like I am your neighbor living here in NH and you both being from Maine and feel like you are old friends I could have a coffee or slice of pizza with. Keep up the awesome work! You guys both rock!!

I truly don’t understand how they can be so sure they weren’t dumped there? Isn’t that like a very common place to dump a dead body. I hate that just because someone uses they’re just at fault for their own death. It’s so hurtful. God bless them.

JUST saw this & want to share re: voluntarily being in a dumpster, as related to drug use (in my own exp, ONLY). In active addiction, concerns about safety (from police intervention) and privacy (from judgement) can give way to reckless, dangerous, or compromising behavior, depending upon ones URGENCY to get high. I knew people that couldn't make it home &had to use IMMEDIATELY after purchase..in a car, fastfood rest, gas station. For this couple to choose a dumpster as their Best/Only Option...must be a DAMN GOOD REASON, in my humble opinion. Addiction alone, is not enough to explain the tragic events and my heart goes out to both families.
Thanks for covering this, and letting me share-

This is way too strange 🤔 especially if they were not homeless. I know a lot of ppl that are/ have been addicts and unless they’re homeless they do their substances in a safe, private place. Maine & N.H. are two totally different states not counties, it’s weird that the bodies would be separated that far apart . I pray the truth prevails and the family gets answers. May they Rest in Paradise 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😞💔

That is awful that the family wasn't notified first. Imagine finding this out and not given the chance to prepare yourself first before seeing it on the news. WTF!? They are most definitely devastated. 💔💔

You beautiful, beautiful people. It made me cry hearing how you talked about addicts. You would’ve shown such compassion to my sweet Kati Beth. Best wishes to you all, you’re a gift to us all.
