Im having the same issue - i have a 2010 iMac with 8gb of ram installed - so i know it can't be the hardware it must just be the software. Scrolling is choppy.

I have the same problem on my 13' Macbook 2011 with i5.
After a restart the problem should be solved. But the problem will be reproduced, if the Macbook wakes up the next time from sleep mode.

Has anybody a solution for this? Really annoying =(

Same here, All cpu ram all ok, But still laggy even laggy while i'm typing right now.

User Harkaits found a solution to the problem. He installed the Snow Leopard graphics drivers in Lion which solves the problem: Put h t t p s colon doubleslash before the address.
