YMCA World Service: The First Camp in Kosovo

In the late 1990s, war in Eastern Europe caused deep social divisions between different ethnic groups and displaced 90% of the population in what is now Kosovo. Today, with the support of YMCA World Service, the Kosovo YMCA is building the nation’s first-ever camp to bring children from different backgrounds together to overcome post-war trauma and build bridges for a more peaceful future.
