My nurse training has this slightly different in that the apron is removed and used to enclose all other PPE so that no contaminated surfaces are touched as everything is enclosed within the apron so i guess this has changed for the current crisis

Who devised these steps? Because I find it rather illogical to take off my gloves and expose my hands to a potentially soiled apron, when god knows what could gage splashed on it.

Where the PPE should be stored? In the care home where i work it is stored in the bathrooms of the residents' rooms.

The steps of removal...they are illogical. Gloves should be removed last. Apron first. Take off face shield or gogles. Remove gloves, clean and desinfect hands.
What a bunch of nonsense. And we are bound to follow these rules.
