I LOVE Mara Wilson as Matilda, but I must admit there is something special about Alicia playing Matilda with a British accent and going to a British school as set in the book. She has a sassy mischievous quality while Mara was more innocent and sweet. Both versions are unique and incredible.

Alisha was the perfect fit for Matilda. She said in multiple interviews she doesn't know why they picked her but she is amazing. She has that spark that twinkle in her eyes that makes you believe everything she's saying ist real. She is amazingly talented like all of the kids in the movie (oc) but she was picked because she kinda is Matilda eventhough she obviously isn't. Yk what I mena

My favourite song in the movie! Alisha is so talented, and so are all the other kids. This song speaks to me the most, I haven’t been in a situation like Matilda’s but the chorus makes me feel more happy and confident. I am not going to let people pick on me anymore thanks to this movie!
