Sarasota is great if you are a rich Republican. I have lived here all my life and things have changed quite a bit - not for the better.

You never leave the house if you can get away with it. Traffic is hell. 8 months of 90 + degree heat.

Super, super expensive prices. If your from the north the food tastes like crap…. It has gotten better in the last 30 years. Still over priced. What bull, say you kids if they really what to do these things.

Paddle boarding in the ocean Is like walking in the desert. It sucks after about 15 minutes…

I work at van wezel. Super, super expensive. Great entertainment comes at a premium price.

Over 40+ years here it has only gotten worse with developers in bed with red mad hatters. Education is being assaulted every day. Visit and know that you have no buying power under $300, 000+ income to buy a small house. Research is in your best interest.

Sarasota, run away. Traffic sucks. It takes an hour to get 15 miles in any direction. Siesta key is overrated and over populated.
