Better job than I have seen in some new builds, not sure how the excess ducting would hold up against the ever increasingly stringent flow rates as flexi tends to create a lot of turbulance even in small lengths. but from what I can see it would Get a lot better results than a few recent jobs I have tested. you wont believe how many get away with excess ducting of up to and exceeding 1 ft.

A lot of silicone, i recommend actual 4" duck work and also plastic anchors to secure outside cove incase you need access later, all in all good info

Hi i know it’s an old video but my cooker hood is facing the bathroom.

Is it possible to drill through to the bathroom wall. And then up through the ceiling? As the bathroom ceiling is free from outside to put a vent in.

I was told if you go from 6 to 4 inch it restricts the flow and can back up to the extractor?

Hi by all means use silicone to seal the outside but the screws and plugs on the outlet plate wouldn't cost much more to fit🤑🤑 i would have fitted at least two as a minimum ...

Don't hamerdrill with a circular grinder, it kills the grinder but you probably found that out by now.

How did you know where to drill on the outside wall so that it lined up with the correct location on the inside wall? Did you drill a long pilot hole?
