Can't believe that you have never been there... Such a tiny little gem and a great view over the harbour. Ok, not spectacular, no entertainment (apart from the museum), but simply a nice place to relax. I do understand, why Victor Hugo stands there overlooking St Peter Port although he had a great view from hos own Hauteville House as well. :-)

One of our favourite places to visit when we visit the island ❤ The gardens are always stunning and peaceful. The museum is really informative and interesting. The cafe is lovely too. There was a concert taking place just outside the cafe when we last visited. It was magical 😍🇬🇬x

Thank you Ross a lovely walk. Every time we got back home for a visit we always went to the Gardens. Tulips are lovely but it's a shame they don't last very long, get wind blown very quickly. At the beginning after you turned left from the carpark - you stopped and looked at the beginning of lane on the right that goes down to The Avenue. I used that lane often when walking to Grammar School from the bus.. Great memories.

Another place to visit near the gardens : Victoria tower (free) to have a fantastic view on Saint Peter Port. Often very interesting expositions in the museum.

Next time you're there ask for the key to Victoria Tower. You'll get an amazing view of St Peter Port from up there 🙂
