I started filming my intro’s and outro’s AFTER the video itself is edited and done. It makes it easier to set up what’s happening in the video and outro is just a summary and plugs. Makes it easier. Not so much faster but your overall quality of content will improve. Take care! Hope it helps someone. ✌️

Thank you for this video. As a beginner editor, I have been using capcut mobile to do all my edits. Once I outgrow capcut, I will probably move to Davinci because of its one time fee vs monthly with Premier

I started tinkering with Resolve after the peanut butter and jelly tutorial you did. That was an excellent beginner tutorial. How about a very beginner Fusion effects for the PB&J video.

@9:00 I have not used it for a long time, but my reason for rejecting the current Final Cut Pro was FILE MANAGEMENT. FCP made these huge files, and I could not sort out the footage I did not need when I archived...
And the magnetic timeline was stupid, and did not allow multiple versions of an edit, like Adobe Premier does.

Thanks, I’ve been editing home movies in ytp style for fun on my ipad mini but find i movie very frustrating - for example chopping/changing audio accurately.It’s generally just too limiting and doesn’t allow enough manual control.
I’ll look into Capcut or Davinci Resolve.Thanks again.

Im stuck using it as an editing software atm. I have over 150 videos edited on it and feel like Im stuck with it now.

Im thinking about switching over to either paid CapCut or DaVinci but its hard to find the time to relearn new software...😢
