This was intended to be full review of AirAsia A320 economy, but it ended up being a gush-fest about their premium meals. I don’t know who the head AirAsia chef is, but he (or she) deserves to when the Nobel Peace Prize for the stuff they’re serving. It was the best ever economy class meal I have ever experienced!

Speaking of the flight itself, this was AirAsia 6123 from Penang (PEN) to Kuala Lumpur (KUL). Flying time was a short 45 minutes, and I had seat 4F. Aircraft registration was 9M-AGM.

I like how he says he had been having a good time so far when he had been on the plane for like 5 minutes sitting

I had flights with AirAsia in the Philippines before, and I gotta say that the reason why I really love AirAsia is their food. I mean I could fly with other airlines but this is something that's worth your buck. Great video as always Scott! Stay Safe!

Ok the fact that you mentioned chicken and rice in that sense you have just made my mouth water so much. Hopefully when this pandemic ends I'll be able to fly on AirAsia and try out their amazing CHICKEN

1st March 2020

That before the sheet hits the fan real hard. Thanks for the loud shout out lol.
I did quick trip to/fro Langkawi the day before and yes, life is business as usual at that time.

Social distancing was not the trend at the time of your flight but it is now the biggest ongoing trend ongoing in Malaysia hahah.

Man, its a pity you did no try the liquid fire? or Did you? That is the best combo for Chicken Rice (yes its pronounce as it is)

Fantastic video like always, love your commentary. The food you pre-ordered looks delicious, better than some first class meals I've had in the US :P

I flew with AirAsia twice a few weeks ago ( Bangkok to Singapore, and Singapore to Kuala Lumpur), those self sevice kiosks are so easy to use, I was quite surprised as I almost always use mobile boarding passes.

Air Asia is not a bad choice for a short flight like what you flew. Though the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. You chose the Chicken Rice, which I agree is good and is one of my favorite dishes when I'm in Malaysia or Singapore. The red sauce is chili sauce, btw. Nasi Lemak is another meal that is pretty good on Air Asia. I think you chose wisely avoiding flying to HK and China. Take care.
