Im glad that Japan is taking care of their land and don’t let tourists misbehave. It’s sad for those who act right but it’s necessary. Still got 55000円 from my last Trip to Kansai left. Went with 100.000円. No need to get that much with the exchange rate now (visiting in November 2024). Visited everything, ate good and bought a lot of souvenirs. Just avoid tourist traps and you are good to go.
