Can you compare the size of the 200 300 and 400 in a video?

In my opinion, Shimano missed the boat with the 400D/401D, what happened to the good old clicker ? How is it possible they have discarded the clicker ? Many salt guys fish bait, it definitely lost me at least for the 400 size. One other issue with this reel is that the JDM version has easy access to the brakes and this international version doesn't which is a bit of a let down. Other than that, is still a decent Calcutta reel like you have come to expect. If you want a clicker, you might have to try to find some remaining stock of the TE 400 which is about $370 a pop. I just ended up going for the new Abu Garcia C4 6601 which is about 1/3 of the price of the TE 400 and is plenty good enough.

lots of people have said that the parts they use, like thumb bar and level wind are made from plastic, whilst tackletour have said that there made from a composite material. which one is it because they look a bit like graphite-ish material to me.

I got a big choice to make n need help. I'm going to be doing big swimbait casting using my lunker punkers and wanna know what you think is a better choice. The 400d or 400b ? I'm Going to string up 65# braid. And which of the 2 has more strength? Thanks appreciate it

Hey, i was wondering if the 400Ds similar in size to the old calcutta 250s? and also, will it handle the abuse of slow jigging for yellowtails and other species(grouper, snapper), and throwing swimbaits at calico bass?

The 400D is a much better reel but the 400B has a little more drag.
