I thought since using the Google Pixel 7 Pro, I would be able to say 'I'm done with the search for the near-perfect device'. However, this turned out not to be the case. I've been back and forth with my LG V60 for the last year and a half now. And now I must say, the LG is truly a BEAST in it's own right. It has even given other flagships a run for their money and even to the point of embarrassment for them. It showed up the S20, S21 and S22 lineups in more areas than one. A few of the Oneplus devices even had to bow down. So with the Pixel 7 pro, I found myself underwhelmed by it as some features have become quite important to me (cameras, social media - of course, multi-tasking, etc.). Of those features that were (again) shown up by the V60, 2 of them were the screen brightness and the front facing camera. The selfie camera on the LG is far better than the GP7Pro!! I said "WOW!!! How is this even possible on a device 2 years older than a newer flagship?!!?" As we already know: one word: Internals. The specs on the LG V60 were set just right. This was as if to say that LG could possibly have already known what Samsung, iPhone and Google were working to pull off. And just the very proof that there remains room for continued improvement.
So for the time being while I'm once again undecided on which current flagship I would like to keep in my pocket, it looks like the LG V60 will be my pocket-all-around device - again. And I don't mind since I've played with it just enough to witness its full features for myself.

Nice and fair comparison!
LG devices still pack a punch, years after launch.I would like to see a V50 pitched against a Pixel or Samsung device on your channel. I think the V50 has better optics than it's successor, but lags behind in some other areas.

As for those that are tired of watching LG V60 videos, well, they can start making their own video with devices of their choice.
Some of us will always love the V60 and will always wait to watch more great videos of it!

P.S: how did they both do it terms of handling the heat during 4K recording, especially in day time?

Ive been using my V60 for around 2 years and am finding it very difficult to want to upgrade. I just dont know if its worth it. Still the battery lasts forever, takes great pics and video.

I agree that every new phone needs to be compared to the LG V60. There has not been another phone that has all of the capability that it has for the price!

Great to see your clip for LG V60. I was trying to find new phone but finally I could not quit from my LG V60. It's really more worth to compare with various phones nowsday coz LG V60 has great hardware and lasting battery including capacity for microSDXC. Also sterio 3D sound with 3.5mm headset jack. The only thing that LG V60 could not beat current smart phones in the market is camera which is generally happened for new coming phones with better camera BUT I'm so surprised that many videos and photos from LG V60 still almost the same quality videos and photos from smart phones which were just launched in 2022/2023 !!!

Pls compare the V60 with gcam against pixel 7 pro. Because pixel gains a lot with their software along with the hardware, i think it will be little more fair as the stock cam in V60 is already outdated.I definitely believe that V60 deserves some appreciation.

As a v60 owner, v60 has severe autofocus issues ... Previously having lg v50, it was a blast ... V50 had much better cameras

I have used and tested Vivo X80 Pro before for a short period of times.. now im rocking the V60. All i can say is i dont miss the Vivo X80 pro at all.. this shows how good the LG V60 really is. In fact, the performance, battery life, are better than the Vivo X80 pro. It still runs smooth eventhough it has 60Hz display and the Display is GORGEOUS, its truly is. The camera can go neck in neck with the latest flagship and the price is unbeatable. What more could you ask for? Dont let me start with the audio quality of V60, you know. Its an all-rounder. This phone is way way underrated. This is one of the best phone in 2022 for me, really

I think your summation was spot on. But that's the problem. For these two phones to be competitive while they are 2 years apart in technology, is disconcerting if I were a pixel 7 Pro owner. I think the pixel 7 should be leaps and bounds ahead of the v60, however, they are competitive in every aspect with neither phone showing a clear edge in any category in my opinion. For my money, the V60 still takes the crown even though it's 2 years old!

About quality of picture or video depending on who operates it, because LG 60 is universal in manual mood. Old or new it not so problem as long as they have learned about how to grow up the device. Not to stand on a same level for 100years next.

nowadays phone just over post-processing stuff on their camera ....I womder if there is any reviewer out there reviewing camera comparison, , on pbotos especially using RAW format shot, , .. to see more accurate and honest camera comparison...

Wow. I'm a huge V60 fan, and it's the phone I use, and I won't be changing that for another couple of years or longer hopefully. That being said, all of the video and photos from the Pixel 7 pro looked so much better! I really don't mind at all as the V60 photos are still def. good enough, but yeah, def. now know it doesn't compare to one of the best cameras in the business on the 7 pro.
