For those who are having trouble snapping ankles, make sure your defender is moving with you. Then, you can take a dribble move to stop yourself and they should get knocked down. When you are first trying, use Kyrie

You forgot about the one handed self nutmeg. No matter how you have your left stick oriented, while holding R2/RT, flick the right stick down left(if on ball hand is the right) and then directly to the right and you'll complete the dribble move. Reciprocate with the left side as well, just reverse the movements. Doesn't give an ankle breaker, but will definitely freeze your opponent and they wont know what to do which allows you to sprint in any direction without being guarded! Hope this helped!

Couple things I found while dribbling. If you time the stick movement correctly you can moment dribble straight out if most escape moves with out using r2.
Also holding r2 then hold the left analog left right or back you get a different step back or side step
