I once was on a flight into Burlington VT and it was so windy our pilot took us on 5 go-arounds just to get a feel for how to safely land us. We ended up landing with only one side wheel down because the wind took the other wing up, but he did a great job and we were all safe. 🙌🏼

To anyone wondering where this is:
It’s the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany.
It might look boring here if you aren’t into model planes or plane spotting, but the whole thing is just modelled regions of so many regions of the world over two whole building floors (including, but absolutely not limited to, this airport). If you’re ever in Hamburg I’d very much recommend it! It’s also fun because they hide a bunch of little “easter eggs” and some tongue-in-cheek things. Definitely would recommend! ☺️
