Arrival Movie Review

Canadian filmmakers, I believe, have a certain inherent subtext deep inside them... no... it's not manners... although that comes naturally. Will amazing Canadian filmmaker, Denis Villneuve finally show the world he has ARRIVED? Or will people be worried about what he's going to do to his next film... the Blade Runner Sequel?

ET will always have a soft spot in my heart. :) Good review! I've been curious about this film, and your review has made me want to see it even more. I suppose the fact that a lot of the comments from the hoi polloi on the Facebook page for the movie which said this movie bored them to tears is also a good indication that it has just the right amount of intellectually stimulating content for me. :P

I usually say 'to each his own' but legitimately don't understand how anyone doesn't like Arrival. Or Contact, for that matter.

Great review! For me, the best friendly alien movie has to be E.T without a doubt. For a more family friendly film, it has a lot of depth

Contact was pretty epic. I saw that twice in theatres when I was younger.
