In early Ninjago Lloyd could use the og Ninja’s powers so Morro was just using Lloyd’s power, and with Jay they just thought lightning wind, same thing

I always wondered why they didn't keep lloyds power point plot concept, considering his element is energy i never understood why all the ninjas power didn't get weaker when lloyd was captured with vengston, even if he gave them his power it made sense he would still be powering it. Posession i see would definitely take away power as it's another using it, but i think vengston could lower they're power? Idk it's just something iv always pondered

To be fair, wind and lightning are sibling elements, i can see how control over one would grant you access to the other. This is clearly a plot hole but i will gladly fill it with science

Here’s what I think: Wind and Lightning are similar and can share certain abilities. We obviously know the infamous scene where Jay used Wind against the serpentine but it was only for a brief moment that we never see again. Morro does the same thing with Lightning to attack Nya and fry the controls of the Bounty. This leads me to believe that these abilities aren’t as powerful as their respective abilities, just shared powers of a similar element. You can argue this with the Heat and Fire elemental power or (scroll down if you want to see, otherwise spoilers). So that’s my thought process. Any thoughts?

Morro used electricity because he was in lloyds body. Lloyd combined all the elements into energy/life because he gave most of it away to the ninja. I guess morro didn’t care about that and used lightning, which also solves the mystery of his crazy strength.

Jay using lightning is probably because wind is related to lightning but uhhh idk

Actually jay used wind as the speed of the lightning so he set off the fire and Morro used One of Lloyds powers, lightning.

nah morrow used lightning cause he possesed lloyd, and since lloyd has all 4 elements, morrow can use lloyds power.
