Some advice for my fellow other server players: plan events in advance. The other servers will have events released roughly a year after their initial release on the JP servers, so you have at least a full year to plan for that event if you want to tier it. Look at the events around it to see if anything will take other's attention away from that event, or if the event you're interested in is the popular event.

I got t500 in an event with basically no crystals, no consistency in play time, and only 200% bonus. My biggest tip: Tier on an event right after a popular one. That’s literally all you need to do lmao

You know, as much as I want people to like MMJ as much as I do, sometimes I'm glad that they're relatively unpopular. It sure makes events a heck of a lot easier.

my biggest tip is Do not tier for niigo 🔥

(as someone who got t147 for my footsteps your destination)
the amount of event points that i got for that event playing 10-16 hours each day would’ve resulted in t50 of any other event and i mean that so serious 😭

also, popularity of events tends to go mmj < l/n < vbs <= wxs <<<< niigo
some very very popular events that you’ll probably need to prepare more for are:
-white day (which might be worse than hermit)
-cg/o
-dazzling (maybe)
-unity
i recommend doing a less popular event for your first tier just so you can figure out your boundaries when it comes to tiering

one more thing: always pick EB > talent (unless you are using something like a 2 star card with a 51% bonus and can use a 4 star card with a 50% bonus)

I tiered at My footprints your destination (What lies behind, what lies ahead in en) event and got in top 5000. I could say I was truly suffering

ofc this was posted after the akito event😭 god i needed this so bad. unfortunately i only ranked 10.4k at the end of the event despite maintaining 8k for the entire event period. can't wait for the second part, i'll make sure to do better for akito 😼

If you want to top higher easier, play the Korean or Chinese version. I did an event in both versions and got top 1000 just by playing every day for like an hour

it’s probably be mentioned in the comments already but you will have a much easier chance at getting a higher ranking if you choose to tier either less hyped events or events that occur while other things are going on. that’s how i got t500 in global server mermaid admiration! though it was still excruciating having to balance tiering and starting school once again 😅 anything for nene however

As somone who is now tiering as a jp player who is rank 17 this does work!

my highest was only t100 on the JP server, but I have a couple friends who are have obtained t10s, they spent ~950k crystals on batteries each time (yes it’s 950k not95k), I got my t100 without efficient/meta song and private rooms after putting in 20 hours a day for 9 days, with 5 batteries on each match, also blew away 135k crystals. By doubling the cost of crystals (10 batteries) I would’ve landed on ~t40 or t50 during that particular event I got t100 on.
There are different types of events and yes you need to plan ahead, you want to consider “solo” if you’re going for something like t20 or t10 on a team battle event since you get 110k per hour as opposed to 85k per hour, the only downside is that you’ll be spending way more crystals. An alternate solution without crystals is to horde recovery items for a year (which is barely t100 depending on your luck)

I want to pull of the lim valentine’s event, but I’m saving for draw your bow in this white world for en. I’m in the top
200 in the current event on en, and after this I’ll save for that event. Thanks for the video :)

I managed to rank in the top 1000 after suffering
Throughout the entire event period I was between 1000-1500 so it was quite stressful💀💀

And the event was a Mizuki one

Thank youu, I was thinking about tiering again another mizuki focus after I got top 300 in the hermit and stopped playing again. Probably gonna be hard because they're a popular character and more players in the global now jklaskfld

I needed this because niccori emu event is next in EN😭😭

Bro I remember tiering in hermit event alone and without mizuki. it was HELL, I could've gotten around t1000- t4000 if my wifi didn't stopped working for 2 days 😭

I managed to get t200(153) on the first Lim Rui and Toya event on Taiwan server without spending a single crystal (apart from gacha) and using all my batteries.
Here's what I did, and it should probably work the same for en and kr:

Max out your stamina and play using X5 to save some time, once you finish do it a second time. Then play normally with a pattern of 5 2 2 or 5 3 3 to secure the position you managed to get

If I had used the rest of my crystals (40k iirc) I would have gotten a higher tier, but I wasn't playing that seriously, and I don't plan to tier again until the 1.5 Anni of this server, so my cans have been accumulating since June
