Amy Lee absolutely had a massive influence on make up for goths and alternative kids. If I hadn't had such a horrible experience with Hipdot before I would've bought this in a heartbeat. I love Evanescence so much, still to this day. Amy Lee is truly incredible, her voice is unreal.

15:01 girl you are mistaken Amy Lee literally kickstarted my journey into makeup!! Tbh the palette is definitely nothing special color story wise but oh my GOD do I want it for nostalgia alone. That's what they're banking on and I'm not surprised it sold out almost immediately. But yes, evanescence really had every 12 year old playing with their moms eye liner lol.

Edit: the Korn one doesn't make sense tho you're right about that!

I remember being in high school obsessing over Amy Lee's makeup and how she loved being glam, yet still true to the image of the band. For me, I love what HipDot is doing and I may be alone in my opinion but I have to appreciate when a brand gets me excited about makeup...because honestly it's hard to do anymore with the oversaturation. 🙏🏼💕

Honestly, I think HipDot is collabing with these artists simply bc it's a genre/era that hasn't really been tapped into before now. Made more sense (makeup-wise) with MCR, but since they saw the success they had with that release, they probably figured, "Why not? What's the worst that could happen?"

Those ulta points rack up quick especially because they usually have specials with like 3x or 5x points on things. I always loved when I could get a haul of like 100 dollars worth of product without paying because I saved my points
