Thanks for the update again desy. Bummer they didn't "fix" the front admin section, that's what turned some people off from purchasing the v1.
The flight pack is still the best middle ground for me.

I went to the NY store this august and saw this update model but finally I bought the travel pack 3 waterproof 35L and so happy with it!

Just got the Travel Pack 3 in Ultra (35L) with the belt strap and it's awesome. I also got the Zpacks hip belt pouches in Ultra and they match up REALLY well.

I brought the CPP Ultra on release and I needed the litres vs the much better CP admin panel. Ultra is much improvement, but the key for me is weight @ 1.08kg for 24 litres.

I almost went with Travel 3 Small (Amin panel perfection), but that bag was too big for an EDC office visit even though I used it for overseas business trips as my carry-on (with my checked-in luggage).

The CPP pro is well padded and light as expected so to solve the Admin panel, I ended up buying both the Tech Kit to store in the main compartment and the slim kit for the lower front panel. It works out quite well. Even my over-the-ear headphone is a dust bag that fits in the admin section where the main mesh I used for the Logi MX mouse and phone charging cables. The small admin panel pocket just has business cards and my Plaud Card.

My biggest gripe with the City Pack Pro is the admin pocket/panel. I love what they have on the standard City Pack (full length with way better pocket/organization layout) yet the "Pro" has limited depth and inferior organization structure. A really baffling design choice, in my opinion.

I want an updated CPP but with the Tech/Day Pack 3 internal materiel and admin panel! I'm not really a fan of the Ultra material. To me, it looks a little cheap.
