I love Jim Keller! Donald Knuth, Jim Keller, I love how I can relate to their examples.
Their examples are so engineering based or applied, even when abstract they still sound like engineering-esque.

Many think Engineering is creating new designs, inventions, and solid modeling/CAD work. In actuality, Engineering is a process you go through to develop a product or solution. Customers don't see or understand all the testing, failures, and pain engineers go through on the daily to develop what you may think is trivial.

I think Jim Keller is advocating for putting love into things.

It is an interesting comparison with engineering and bricks. Can't make a good house built with bad bricks.
