Cetus2 On-The-Fly Material Switching

Black and White PLA feed through the same nozzle alternately to give different color on the same toolpath. By manipulating the extrusion parameters, solid colors or transitional colors can be made.

On-The-Fly Switching or OTFS is a unique technology developed by Cetus3D.
The nozzle of the printer contains two independent channels that converges at the orifice opening. This result in ultra-fast material switching between 2 materials and new ways to print color and functional designs!

This is the first time such design being implemented on a plastic extrusion system.
