HP EliteBook 8540P RAM Upgrade Installation instructions with 2nd RAM under keyboard

How to Remove, Upgrade and install a RAM Memory module on a HP EliteBook 8540P laptop. The laptop has two RAM locations with one being housed under the keyboard, so you will need to unscrew the 3 screws for the keyboard and then slide the clips on the keyboard down or towards yourself. This will allow you to move the keyboard in order to upgrade the second RAM Memory module.

The question for me is, can the number of slots be expanded if only 1-1 are soldered per side? Because you can see that there are still 1-1 free slots on both sides. And then what else needs to be changed so that the 16 GB of RAM is recognized by the bios, if the other 2 slots are expanded by soldering and 2 more RAM pieces are inserted into the slots, 4 GB per slot, and of course replaced by the appropriate processor? Since it is currently an I7, I would not want less than an I7 in the case of a replacement.
But the maximum that the replacement processor handles is 4GB/slot the current one is also 4GB/slot, but only manages up to 8GB in total. And it currently manages 2x 4GB.
But now there is no empty slot, only if 2 more solders are broken.
But then you need another processor, and instead of a 90W power supply, a 120W power supply.

Tricky with the two location configuration! Glad I watched the video! The slot in the back looks like it could easily have accommodated another module, like most other systems I've encountered. I wonder what the advantage or necessity of the secondary location for the RAM module? Could it aid in keeping the system cooler? Otherwise it's an unusual configuration in my experience, and I've been taking computers apart, (and even some back together), since "Pong" was cutting edge ! And here in 2021, this "old timer" is working well with 8 Gb ! (The laptop as well!) Thank You very much, sir! (P.S., HP has not tested Windows 10 on this model, since it goes back 11 years, but I can tell you, so far, so good!
