Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan on August 2, 2022, has been seen by mainland China as an explicit provocation and a move to embolden the self-ruled island’s independence-leaning government. The US House Speaker’s visit to Taiwan, which Beijing regards as a breakaway province, has plunged the relationship between Beijing and Washington to new depths and triggered the worst crisis the Taiwan Strait has seen in decades. From the way Chinese view, it is an assault on its national pride. Taiwan has agreed to enter the One China perspective, so they cannot have more than following the framework of One China. Nancy Pelosi, from Beijing’s view, has violated Chinese territory - China has to respond.

It is hard to understand how the Americans interpreted One China, but I will stick with the video so it will be okay.
