प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी शनिवार को इसरो (ISRO) के बेंगलुरु स्थित केंद्र में चंद्रयान-3 एवं विक्रम लैंडर के सफलतापूर्वक चंद्रमा के दक्षिण ध्रुव पर पहुँचने के लिए बधाई देंगे। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी शनिवार सुबह ही दक्षिण अफ्रीका और ग्रीस के राजकीय दौरे से भारत लौटे हैं। 23 अगस्त की शाम भारत ने चंद्रमा के दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर लूनर रोवर भेजकर इतिहास बना दिया। ऐसा करने वाला भारत दुनिया का चौथा देश बना है। भारत से पहले केवल रूस, अमेरिका और चीन ही यह उपलब्धि हासिल कर सके हैं। हालाँकि चंद्रमा के दक्षिण ध्रुव पर लूनर रोवर भेजने वाला भारत दुनिया का पहला देश है। प्रधानमंत्री ने दक्षिण अफ्रीका से इसरो द्वारा चंद्रयान-3 के अवतरण के लाइव प्रसारण में शामिल हुए और वैज्ञानिकों एवं देशवासियों को इस उपबल्धि के लिए बधाई दी। पीएम मोदी ने टेलीफोन द्वारा इसरो प्रमुख एस सोमनाथ को फोन करके बधाई दी। देश लौटते ही पीएम मोदी सबसे पहले चंद्रयान-3 मिशन को सफल बनाने वाले वैज्ञानिकों से मिलने के लिए इसरो केंद्र जा रहे हैं।
