A Fun Annual Ham Radio Field Day Event 2020

This is a national event sponsored by The American Radio Relay League where ham radio operators get on the air and make as many contacts with other operators around the nation as a contest and emergency preparedness drill. Due to the circumstances this year we kept it to a small group. We like to have fun with this event.

I started in 81-82, setup a complete station, used it for about 6 months, and due to my jobs prevented me from using my station so been off the air from 81-82 til 2017. Still not having much time but have keyed up a few hours over the past 3 years. Being an Advance I feel like a novice with all this new digital DMR and all the new stuff. Good to see everyone still gets together.

Fun video. I saw the t shirt that Randy had on from lake Vermillion or Ely. We have a cabin on Lake Vermillion on the cool end (that may be the middle actually).
