Yes, this is true! ❤ As a physician, I have seen kids between 2 and 5 who were diagnosed with severe autism. Many dropped their autism diagnosis after 6 months of no screens. The ones who remained autistic changed their developmental trajectory and became high functioning.

Thank you for sharing this!

It's real. My son fits all autism criteria like poor eye contact, no name response, poor language development, poor imitation, verbal and visual stimming.
But, he does pretend play. He remembers past events. He is still capable of making great eye contact. He is manipulative. He developed autism somewhere around 2 years of age. He is autistic yet not autistic. Screen induced autism is real.

We took away my daughter’s tablet and no tv time and we saw huge progress in her speech and communication!! in just 1.5 months of doing this. People around us have noticed the difference as well.

Please raise the alarms about this! As a person who works with pre-kers who are nonverbal, parents need to know that ipads and phones do NOT raise kids, people do!

Hii dear my 2.4 year old daughter have autism like symptoms I’m sure she have virtual autism because her screen time was 9 to 10 hours now . I noticed when she was 20 months old then i started reducing it now is completely stopped. I see lots of changes in her like she interact with father, brother and uncle now before she wants only me .sometimes she like to play with my son running or jumping. But I see lots of new symptoms related to autism after stopping screen like uneven laughing. Corner eyes.much hyperactive.forget words that she spoke before is it possible in virtual autism or it’s classical.and ecololia also after stopped screen please answer

If a child is truly autistic but has had too much screen time for years, will reducing screen time reduce the symptoms of autism, just like virtual autism?

The problem with my son is, he always behave or imagine the cartoon characters, at every time. He is functional, but these things resist him to be communicative and read with attention.
