Показать описание
The Rampagers campaign for Digital Combat Simulator (DCS) is a docusim telling the story of the conflict in Syria and the operational complexities and dilemmas in the air war against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

The campaign depicts the actual situation and the types of missions executed by the coalition in June 2016.

Operations, weather, force laydowns and units as well as certain incidents follow that of real-life events at the time with some exceptions to fit the DCS map and to make the storyline entertaining.

Air Space Controls, Rules of Engagement and Weapons Release Authority are simulated in an accessible format to create an immersive, near-milsim experience while maintaining playability for the average or experienced player.

Developed by Baltic Dragon and Whipbird Productions.

Available now:

What to expect:
- 17 immersive missions with a variety of different taskings, including Close Air Support (CAS), Emergency CAS, Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses, pre-planned strikes, alert duty and more.
- Realistic airspace controls, departure and recovery procedures and check-ins with terminal controllers in an accessible format.
- Fuel management, air to air refueling, carrier recoveries with divert options.
- Over 3,000 lines and 3 hours of dialogue by more than 25 unique voice actors plus a unique soundtrack.
- Involvement in true events with opportunities for alternative endings and historical debriefings.
- Detailed documentation, flight plans, maps, target information, flight checklists and reference charts available in both PDF format and from within each mission as part of the kneeboard.
- 50+ hours of playtime with re-playability, cameo appearances, pop culture references, quiz and probably even some Easter eggs.

I really like the post-mission score debriefs with the optional historical context ones at the end of every flight. I just finished the first two last night and really enjoyed them. Putting the tooltip in there about using time acceleration during transit corridors was a nice touch for those who are unfamiliar with the feature.

Is this campaign have a learning curve or do we have to be expert on the Hornet?

I was looking forward to this campaign because of the history and realism it promised. Now I see that's been thrown out for yet more 'kill moustache twirling Russians'. Hard pass.

Hello M Dragon! Is this campaign that is like a « training » campaign with a fresh pilot welcomed in his new squadron?
