Hey guys, here is the first of several videos I made while in North Carolina, at my brother's house. I was helping my nephew, Nick do a swap to put a Honda K24-A2 engine into his 2001 Toyota MR2. This is becoming a very popular swap, so I decided to make a series of videos outlining the parts & modifications required to make this swap successful. I hope these videos will help you guys that are attempting this swap on your own. Please be sure to subscribe & hit that notification bell so you'll know when the next video is posted! Thanks for watching! Here are some links to a few of the parts & the swap kit used to make this engine swap work:

Hello from California. I also have a MR2. Your Nephew is a smart man, those engines give these old Toyotas a new life. Relative to the Turbo MR2, the K24 nearly has the same redline, 400(ish)cc increase in displacement, a lighter engine block (iron block vs alloy), timing chain as opposed to timing belt, a submerged oil pump rather than one that has to suck through a tube, a superior cylinder head design, and no more turbo! No more turbo = more reliable, less parts to break, and less weight.

Seriously, those engines are great.

Guys also do the 3.5L V6, 3.3L V6, 3.0 V6, and other Turbo swaps. Personally, if not for my turbo engine, I would have that Honda motor. Vastly superior in every measurable way.

I'm very jealous. You should never sell the car, I promise you, you will regret it.
