Modelling Population Growth with the Logistic Model: IVP

Показать описание
In this video, we use our knowledge of the logistic model for population growth to write a formula for the growth of the population of a certain species.

This is an initial value problem.

Suppose that a population grows has a carrying capacity of K = 6000 and a growth rate of r = 0.0015 per year, if the initial population is 1000, we use this information to write a formula for the population after t years.

We use this formula to find the population after 50 years.
