Stores see new shortages amid pandemic

As Jacksonville continues to see more COVID-19 cases and deaths, store shelves are starting to look like they did when the pandemic began. But this time, some of the items that people are buying up fast are also items that have been added to this year's hurricane prep list.

Some folks only go shopping once or twice a month. Those with more means can afford to go more often. My point being, people do know what they need.
Time is also precious to some of us. Who wants to go shopping all of the not everyone does. So some folks take a bit more, knowing full well they are not coming as often.

Went to two grocery stores today and the shelves were completely full! Even hamburger was down to $2.99.

If stores don't put purchase limits on items, we're going to have to force them to, by law. They don't want that, so it's in their best interest to act now.

MASKS - I wear eyeglasses so I don't like masks that loop behind the ears. I am looking for a simple cone mask with rubberband that goes behind the head, and I haven't been able to find ANY.

Too bad the hand sanitizer I stocked up on from the dollar store was the same recalled brand they were using wood alcohol in. So I probably been poisoning myself without even knowing it, and no one I can sue either if I do.

Also our stores they do limit on the cash registers. If someone tries to buy more than one they can’t cuz it won’t ring it up. Tho there’s ways around it If you’re a true jerk
