HD - Dusty landing in Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport, (LLBG/TLV)

Hi All!

In the following video you will see ILS approach to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, during the dust storm. So the actual haze you see it is not fog nor cloud those are sand particles.

The aircraft after couple of days here on the ground was covered in yellow dust, on the fuselage, wings and engines.

What can such conditions do with engine's turbine blades? Or is this dust with so tiny particles so they got evaporated in combustion chamber before they even could do any damage to turbine blades? And are the engine after flight in such conditions examined? Thanks for info. I know there are some recommendations from Boeing, but i also know airline always has last word on such things :).

Interesting to see a Sands 767 on the ramp, must be picking up some high rollers from Israel and flying them to Vegas :)

I doubt that is El Al. Don´t they have some kind of restrictions for cameras in the cockpit?

You burned probably more fuel on the taxi then you did from the flight! Joking of course but my gosh that is a long taxi.
