Hyundai High-speed elevators with new HELIAS destination dispatch – Tower 8, Seoul, KR

Here we got Hyundai lifts from 2014 in a modern office tower in the centre of Seoul, but what makes them very interesting is new version of HELIAS, Hyundai's destination selection system.

Originally this building had typical and absolutely unremarkable lifts, however, in 2022 tower's owner decided to do some kind of renovation and to install this convenient system - that's what we have now. Operating panels in the elevators and in halls were demolished, lifts were equipped with everything needed for well-functioning destination dispatch.

Most of these elevators have speed of 3.5 meters per second, two indicators in each cabin: dot-matrix and new LCD, which shows selected destination in the car. Also now they have LED indicators, that have selected floors and are visible outside - that's definitely what you don't see in other companies' DD systems. Hall operating panels have big touchscreen and only one button: main floor, which is L in Tower 8.

This building is one of the first places, where new HELIAS was installed. In my opinion, it is really great and different from destination dispatch systems from other companies.

wow! hyundai's dd looks quite cool! that indicator under the doors is very nice, i think it's the best way to show destination, better approach than other european brands which places them on the side

Wow you came in Korea!! It was able to going up to the 24th floor few month ago, But Recently, Up to 15th floor was locked.
