VERY IMPORTANT!!! I forgot to mention in the video. If you complete the Python Institute's course, you get a voucher for 50% off the exam. That's ~$150 savings. Totally worth doing!

I PASSED! THANK GOD! I got exactly 70%. The test started off easy and it got very challenging slowly by slowly. Some questions were very confusing. Make sure to read your questions twice and thrice if you don't understand them.

I just passed the PCAP exam today with a score of 77% (I skipped PCEP). I actually found it quite difficult--even moreso compared to some AWS exams that I've taken in the past.

But you know what? The fact that it's difficult means that it has that much more value than something that's comparable to a certificate of completion. So I'm proud that I was challenged and that I persevered in spite of that.

Cheers Jeremiah, another useful video. I’m currently retraining from mechanical engineering to IT (hopefully networks). Your videos help get me back on track if I’m procrastinating, like an on demand study/focus group. Thanks again.

First and foremost, I hope your son is doing well now as well as your wife. Second, thanks for sharing, I'm moving from javascript into python to focus on ML and have been prepping for the PCAP and this video was helpful on how to go about prepping vs any other Professional level certs I've done in the past.

Hey Jeremiah, I agree with you. Not sure why the Python Institute's systems and methods are so... subpar. I also don't feel that a timed exam is what our metric should be when evaluating a coder and their aptitude level. It almost feels like this would be more valuable if it was based on complex case study style implementations that required certain syntax elements rather than a "quizlet" style pop quiz.

I stumbled over your video about a week prior to my PCEP exam and your advise was priceless and spot on hence I had to go back to revise the PCEP course and go through the practice questions set by the Python institute.

I adhered to the same study and practice pattern for the PCAP ensuring that I covered the Python institute's PCAP syllabus.
I scored 78% and 88% for the PCEP and PCAP respectively.

Thank you very much!
