Haas GR-510 Gantry Mill Helps ToolCo Double Their Output

A recently purchased Haas GR-510 gantry mill at ToolCo helped double the production on a 1500 lbs. part, enabling them to meet a tight deadline on a 5,000 part order. Prior to the addition of the GR-510, they machined one part at a time on an older VF-4 by hanging it out the side. With the GR-510, they’re able to load 3 parts at a time and produce 15 to 18 per day.
