Tariffs are included by the foreign manufacturers in the prices the American buyers will pay, because the tariff-heavy prices for the foreign goods are still lower than the prices of American-made products.

We Are in Unchartered Financial Waters! every day we encounter challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2024, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680, 000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.

I thought all of the questions from James Freemen were perfectly fair questions, Trump did give some good answers as well.

Tariffs were a primary source of revenue for the US government until the income tax was created in 1913, along with the Federal Reserve. I'm not to sure that tariffs are bad idea especially if you consider that it protected US industries. Who knows, maybe using tariffs, moving to a federal flat tax(consumption tax), eliminating the IRS and the FED might be a good idea.

Huh? If importers pay the tariff then they have to raise the price on the products…. To cover the tariff…if prices raise how is that good?
