totally agree with chris! despite season 1 having several sex scenes, season 2 was much sexier in my opinion! kate and anthony’s glares at each other, finger grazing, the intimacy and chemistry was so much hotter then the sex scenes in s1.

This season is more mature and sensual, and humorous. The characters have evolved beautifully. The chemistry between the two protagonists is lovely. The music is perfect!
Anthony and Kate are exceptionally excellent. The ladies of the ton are influential.
And how powerful is the Baroness Featherington! All I can think is what a fantastic entrepreneur she might become in the current era.

I love listening to the Featherington ladies irl. They are so intelligent and funny. I’m so glad that this season Lady Featherington gets some long-overdue recognition for her cunning. She’s outwardly insufferable but we finally get to understand her motivations better. Like people who are just vain and annoying for the sake of being that exist but they are not very interesting. And then, there are also people who have been trained to be cut-throat because of their circumstances. Her final scene is so powerful. When given a choice to leave all these snobbish people, restrictive rules behind, she’s still able to be level-headed and not be tempted. I still may not like her but I have so much respect for her now.

Season 1 seemed to be more exciting since it was the first season and everything was new. Season 2 felt more emotional to me. I cried multiple times during some of the episodes. Full on crying. It was crazy.

wow, took them 8 months to get 8 episodes. i’m sure covid caused a lot of delays, but it makes you wonder how much they filmed but ended up cutting out! i’d love for the show to have 10 episodes (or even longer episodes) so we can see more of the main love interests going forward ❤️
