Pitch King Pale Ale

Here's a little video I made to announce the release of Pitch King Pale Ale, a beer brewed in tribute to my good friend Brian Hulse! The grain bill was mostly 2-Row Barley with a touch of Crystal Malt for colour and body, so carapils to help with head retention, and some flaked corn to partially reference Brian's childhood home in Indiana. The tribute goes further though with the hops as I used Zeus hops for bittering to reference 'The King' aspect, Cascade Hops because the cascade is the first juggling pattern you usually learn and Brian juggles a lot in his show and finally Sorachi Ace hops that were developed by Sapporo Brewing in Japan as a reference to the fact that Brian has called Japan his home for over thirty years. It's a delicious beer in tribute to a fantastic performer! Enjoy!
