Ok... I get reds are “bad” but cmon, you gotta admit every time they were on screen it was pretty cool

For those who are confused. The children in this movie are under five classification and kids with these abilities are put in a certain section which has a unique color of it's own.
*Red* Is for those who can control fire.
*Yellow* is for those who can control electricity.
*Blue* is for those can move things with their minds
*Green* is for those who are highly intelligent.
In this Movie our dear Ruby (the female lead) will disguise herself as being Green so she can hide who she truly is. Which takes us to our final and most powerful ability.
*Orange* The power to control emotions, thoughts, memories. The power to control people's mind.
Edit: I've read the books and they are amazing, hopefully this movie will do it justice.

Read this series around the same time as Hunger Games and The Girl With All the Gifts. Remember seeing Amandla Stenberg as Rue in the Hunger Games movie adaptation and thinking if they ever make Girl with all the Gifts or The Darkest Minds films they have to cast her. Wasn't disappointed with Sennia Nanua but you can imagine my excitement seeing this!

I have read the books and I really like them but I wish that the movie would have gone much darker. It's Literally about a government that puts kids in concentration camps they could have gone much darker. Now I feel like it's more of a teen romance and I'm kind of disappointed.

There’s several movies AND tv shows like X-men, it would be your loss for not seeing the film because you can’t accept that films, and plots alike are similar, it’s up to the writer and/or director to bring out that “thing” that makes it diff from other films under the same Genre
